An Incredible Experience on Virgin Voyages

Recently we had the great experience to enjoy a trip on the Scarlet Lady Virgin Voyages’ cruise! It was incredible!

We started in Miami and from there we set sail on the Scarlet Lady! The Scarlet Lady is an adults-only cruise line—yes, you heard that right! Adults only, which means our little seahorse stayed home with Nana. 💙

We flew direct out of Philly. Our flight was at 5, and although the bag-drop line gave us the hardest time, TSA was a breeze—less than 5 minutes (no government-shutdown issues!). We did end up with a delay, but that was due to some maintenance the plane needed, nothing to do with the crew.

Once we landed in Miami, we grabbed an Uber to our hotel—the Marriott Biscayne Bay! It’s right on the water and super close to the port. There’s even a little market connected to the hotel. The pool is a good size, and the Cuban sandwich and Caesar salad were amazing. (And if you know hotel food… when I say it’s amazing, you should believe me 😂). We ended the night at an Irish pub next door. I didn’t get any pictures 🤪 but the chicken dinner was very good, and I did try to get a photo of the Virgin port.

On the cruise we even had a fun “PJ Party” night! There are tons of activities and amenities to enjoy!

Spring Break on the Norwegian Gem Cruise Ship

Out of office! Spring Break Trip for 2023 has begun!

I am off with my spring break group on the Norwegian Gem! 🚢

We are having a blast for this spring break trip on a beautiful ship, the Norwegian Gem. Sailing off to Bermuda and enjoying our stay. Tanon is having a great time and enjoying the fun drinks, too. This one in the photo is a virgin strawberry daiquiri! Yummy.

It was important to him that he call his daddy and let him know how much of a blast Bermuda was and so, see the great phone booth he found! Seriously, though, this is a magnificent cruise ship with a huge variety of family activities. It also offers delicious food, drinks for adults and kiddos and sunsets that you’ll remember!

Bermuda is beautiful! We stopped over in Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda. It’s a gorgeous place to visit and gave us so many opportunities for family time with Tanon.

Tanon had a blast exploring the area and swimming. But, yes, the water was freezing! I highly recommend discovering the sights and interesting sights to see in the Bermuda area!

Then it was Easter day! Happy Easter 🐰 From our family to yours!

Swimming in Bermuda! (Yes, the water was freezing that particular day.)

Last sea day. Tanon had some more fun swimming on the ship. It’s been fun, but I’m ready to be home! Until next time, good-bye to this beautiful cruise ship, the Norwegian Gem!

Disney Fantasy Trip

We had so much fun in Disney! Recently we enjoyed a Disney Fantasy trip! 🚢

The cruise included many amenities, including The Toy Story crew, Buzz, Jessie and Woody stopping by the ship! The trip was wonderful and my Tan-Tan (3 years old, now) truly enjoyed it!

We were off to Hollywood Studios one day and also a stop at Blizzard Beach.

The last day, Tanon spent swimming with his daddy. As you can see Tanon has a hard life as a travel agent’s son!

A Disney Fantasy cruise includes a variety of activities and adventures. You can make it what you are dreaming about. It will be a family memory that your kids will hold in their hearts forever.
